Telluride Gay Ski Week Returns February 22 - March 1 With Exciting New Upgrades
Telluride Gay Ski Week returns February 22 - March 1, 2025
Just as the snow starts to fly in the Rocky Mountains, the Telluride Gay Ski Week (TGSW) is back with exciting news about the upcoming annual winter event. The week-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community returns on February 22 - March 1, 2025 enhanced with improvements for the third year with SBG Productions at the helm.
After two years of continued growth, the TGSW is expanding into a new venue, the Telluride Conference Center in Mountain Village. The larger space will accommodate more attendees during the evening events and will also serve as a central meeting place throughout the week to pick up tickets, browse the merch store and explore the pop-ups from TGSW partners. The venue will host all the TGSW evening events and après-ski from Wednesday to Saturday. The pool party, a TGSW favorite, is also getting a facelift and upgrading to a larger venue, the Peaks Resort & Spa. The Peaks is the largest spa in Colorado, featuring a heated, indoor-to-outdoor pool, roman tubs, and hot tubs!
The 2025 TGSW schedule of events is highlighted by daily après-ski gatherings, on-mountain dance parties, along with a dynamic lineup of evening performances and parties during the second half of the week (Weds-Sat) including the Burlesque & Drag Show, Glitter Ball, The White Party, Hoedown and more. During the first half of the week, Après-ski will be held at different venues each day to showcase some of Telluride and Mountain Village’s best bars and breathtaking views. During the second half of the week, Après-ski will be held at the Telluride Conference Center, featuring special hosts and lively DJs. Highlighting the charm of the destination, attendees can also enjoy The Gay Sleigh, a horse-drawn sleigh ride with a ranch-to-table Spanish Basque dinner, a Historical Walking Tour and daily dinner recommendations from restaurants that are proud to support the LGBTQ+ community.
The on-mountain experience returns with casual ski meetups (Saturday - Tuesday), organized group skiing (Wednesday - Saturday), a special extreme group skiing experience and the Ski Parade (a pride parade with skiers flying a massive 30 foot rainbow flag down the slopes) on Telluride’s celebrated world-class terrain. In between runs, winter-sports enthusiasts can enjoy the Gay Chalet, a cozy, rustic, vintage western cabin located on the ski mountain along with daily lunch meet-ups where attendees can meet new friends and recount their day from top to bottom.
Stay tuned! The lineup announcement for this year’s artists, performers and drag queens will be revealed in the coming weeks.
